A reasoned renovation for a responsible daily life

We renovated this old family home with the aim of preserving its authenticity and atmosphere, but also of respecting the environment as much as possible in its use as a guest house: combining charm and comfort.

We have therefore chosen more sustainable energies by opting for photovoltaic panels, a heat pump, a wood stove since we are lucky to have wood on our land. Rainwater recovery in the well, hemp wool insulation, double glazing were also part of our choices.

All these actions naturally led us to apply for the "green key" label, which we obtained in 2024. It brings together hosts who share these values and try to work to preserve our environment.

Organic and local producers

Lapleau is a "committed organic" territory and we are proud to promote Lionel and Émeline's organic vegetables as well as organic meat from our neighboring producer. For your meals, we highlight homemade and regional products.

FANCY A SWIM?

We have chosen not to install a swimming pool given that we are lucky in Corrèze to benefit from numerous bodies of water designed for swimming, the closest is accessible on foot or by bike, some are labeled "Blue Flags".

Energy impact

To reduce the carbon footprint of your holiday, we offer a taxi service to the train station and an electric car charging station. Electric bikes are available for hire on site. We also offer many activities to do without using your car.
